Findings of the Reduction of Sperm Count in Men with Maturity

In an observational French study, it was found out that sperm count in men and healthy sperm reduces in men with maturity.

This study collected data from 26,000 men gathered between 1989 and 2005. It revealed that over the 17-year period, there was a one-third reduction in sperm count and a similar reduction in the amount of healthy sperm. It also projected a potentially continuing decline in years to come.

According to the study, environmental toxins, diet, smoking, stress, obesity, tight underwear, and polyethylene underwear are some factors contributing to the decline of sperm count and healthy sperm in men.

Also, it was revealed that male factor infertility is the main cause of delayed conceiving in about 20% of sub-fertile couples, while in 30% to 40% of couples; both male and female factors contribute.

Black Seed Oil as an Additive to Honey

black seed oil with honey

Honey, when consumed on its own can offer many health benefits.   Since it comes with dietary and pharmaceutical properties, it has been an integral part of traditional medicine.

But a new study has found out that adding black seed oil obtained by cold extraction to honey can increase the antioxidative capacity of honey.

In this study, the antioxidant activity of natural honey, black cumin oil, black cumin oil, and honey mixture, wherein the honey was a dominant component were studied.

The goal was to find out whether the black seed could be used as an additive to honey to improve the antioxidant properties of honey.

The study concluded that black seed oil showed a substantial capacity for the neutralization of free DPPH radicals. It was much more than pure natural honey and even more than the mixture of black seed oil and honey.

Thus, you can use black seed oil as an antioxidant component by adding it to honey. You can also use it to avert or slow down oxidative stress caused by free radicals. Or you can use it as a potential natural antioxidant in the food industry, a substitute against synthetic antioxidants.
